Responsibilities
- Patient Care Management: Monitor patient health, administer medications and treatments, and document vital signs and medical history accurately.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and specialists to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Crisis Response: Remain calm and effective during emergency situations, performing triage and initiating life-saving interventions when necessary.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care, medication management, and preventative health strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Compassionate Support: Provide emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid UK Registered Nurse (RN) license with current NMC registration.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties.
