Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical orders and safety protocols.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit or Critical Care setting.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
