Responsibilities
- Provide critical care assessment and intervention for post-cardiac surgery patients
- Administer medications and monitor telemetry with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Document electronic health records with 100% accuracy
- Mentor new staff through our RN residency program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to rapid response emergencies
Qualifications
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- Active Illinois RN license
- 2+ years ICU experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
