Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess critical patients using advanced cardiac monitoring systems
- Administer medications and treatments with precise dosage calculations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex care plans
- Document patient progress with EMR accuracy and timeliness
- Educate patients and families on post-ICU recovery protocols
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with ACLS certification
- Maintain sterile techniques during invasive procedures
Qualifications
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Active Illinois RN license
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
