Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of clinical trial protocols including patient recruitment, enrollment, and retention strategies
- Manage comprehensive regulatory documentation ensuring compliance with FDA, GCP, and institutional guidelines
- Coordinate multidisciplinary research teams and maintain accurate electronic trial records
- Monitor adverse events and implement corrective actions per protocol requirements
- Develop and maintain patient education materials informed consent documents
- Analyze and report trial data ensuring data integrity and quality standards
- Liaise with sponsors, IRB, and regulatory bodies for protocol amendments and approvals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years clinical research coordination experience in academic/hospital setting
- Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or SOCRA certification required
- Expertise in FDA regulations, ICH-GCP, and HIPAA compliance
- Proficiency with electronic data capture systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, REDCap)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to regulatory documentation
- Strong interpersonal abilities for patient engagement and team collaboration
- Experience in oncology or cardiology trials highly desirable
