Responsibilities
- Provide advanced cardiovascular assessments and treatment plans for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Perform diagnostic procedures including ECG interpretation and stress testing
- Develop and implement evidence-based patient education programs
- Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- MSN or DNP degree from accredited institution
- Active Minnesota NP license and current RN registration
- Minimum 3 years cardiovascular nursing experience
- Certification as Acute Care NP (ACNP-BC) preferred
- Strong proficiency in cardiac diagnostics and pharmacology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
