Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care monitoring and intervention for post-cardiac surgery patients
- Administer complex medications and therapies with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document electronic health records with meticulous attention to detail
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using ACLS protocols
Qualifications
- Active NYS RN license and BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 3 years ICU experience with cardiac specialty focus
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EHR and critical care monitoring systems
- Demonstrated expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
