Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in emergency settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and timely in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge plans
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital policies
- Participate in trauma activations and code blue responses
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years ER experience (Level 1 trauma preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
