Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care nursing for post-operative and critically ill patients
- Administer complex medications and monitor life-support equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient care plans
- Document electronic health records with precision and timeliness
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and recovery
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
- Participate in rapid response and code blue emergencies
Qualifications
- BSN degree with active NY RN license
- 2+ years ICU or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring
