Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess critical patients using advanced monitoring systems
- Administer complex medications and life-saving interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Document patient status using Epic EMR with precision and timeliness
- Educate patients and families on critical care procedures
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with ACLS protocols
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (or compact state)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years ICU experience with telemetry certification
- ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
