Responsibilities
- Deliver critical care to patients in intensive care units with specialized monitoring and intervention
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and patient progress using electronic health records
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during critical care
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control and safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning opportunities
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (or compact state)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Demonstrated critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
