Responsibilities
- Provide critical care for post-operative cardiac patients and complex medical cases
- Administer advanced life support and specialized medications
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, ventilator settings, and hemodynamic parameters
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists and perfusionists
- Implement evidence-based nursing interventions and protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions in Epic EMR system
- Educate patients and families on critical care procedures and recovery plans
Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license (required)
- BSN or higher in Nursing (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience with cardiac specialization
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications (required)
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EMR documentation system
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
