Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop care plans for emergency patients across all acuity levels
- Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving interventions per protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency preparedness drills
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and state nursing regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington State
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years ED experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years emergency/trauma nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
