Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and implement evidence-based interventions for critically ill patients across diverse age groups
- Administer medications, perform complex procedures, and interpret diagnostic results with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA compliance standards
- Lead trauma resuscitations and emergency response protocols during high-pressure situations
- Mentor junior staff through our structured preceptorship program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental performance reviews
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington State with BSN or higher degree
- Minimum 3 years acute care emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications with current PALS preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system and point-of-care ultrasound
- Demonstrated ability to maintain composure during critical incidents
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through CME credits
- Experience with pediatric and geriatric emergency protocols
