Responsibilities
- Assess and stabilize patients in acute/critical conditions using rapid triage protocols
- Administer medications and interventions per physician orders with precise documentation
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, specialists, and social workers
- Utilize Epic EHR systems for real-time patient data analysis and reporting
- Maintain strict infection control standards during high-volume emergency scenarios
- Provide patient/family education on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Participate in trauma activations and code blue emergencies
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Illinois RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or critical care experience
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for high-stress team environments
