Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in acute emergency conditions
- Administer medications and therapeutic interventions per protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
- Document patient encounters using Epic EMR system
- Maintain patient flow and triage priorities in high-volume setting
- Participate in trauma activations and code blue responses
- Educate patients and families on discharge plans
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois RN license (required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years ER/trauma experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
