Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a 24-bed ICU setting with advanced monitoring equipment
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and patient progress in electronic health records
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond rapidly to cardiac arrests and other critical emergencies
Qualifications
- Current NY State RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Excellent communication abilities for patient/family education
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
