Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU setting
- Monitor and interpret complex hemodynamic parameters and EKG rhythms
- Administer precise medication dosages and emergency interventions
- Collaborate with physicians on treatment plans and patient progress
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care and family support
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- BSN degree (MSN preferred) from accredited nursing program
- Current NYS RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 3 years critical care experience in Level I trauma center
- Proficiency in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills for high-pressure environments
- Experience with Epic EMR system
