Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill patients across diverse medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions using Epic EMR systems
- Mentor junior staff through clinical rotations and skill development sessions
- Participate in rapid response teams and code blue emergencies
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years ICU or critical care experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Experience with Epic EMR and telemetry monitoring systems
- Exceptional communication and emotional intelligence abilities
