Responsibilities
- Delve into complex patient assessments and develop evidence-based care plans for critically ill patients
- Administer specialized medications and life-support interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes through interdisciplinary rounds
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA compliance standards
- Lead rapid response team activations during emergency situations
- Mentor junior staff through our clinical ladder advancement program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State (NYSED)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU/CCU experience with telemetry monitoring expertise
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications maintained
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Demonstrated excellence in critical decision-making and crisis management
- Commitment to continuous professional development through CNE credits
