Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in a 24-bed ICU unit
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer complex medications and monitor life support systems
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
- Mentor junior staff through our clinical ladder program
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects
Qualifications
- Active NY RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 3 years ICU experience in Level 1 trauma center
- ACLS/NIHSS/PALS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and hemodynamic monitoring systems
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or BSN with CCRN preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in ventilator management and hemodynamic support
- Exceptional critical thinking and crisis intervention skills
