Responsibilities
- Deliver high-acuity patient care in 20-bed ICU with 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Administer complex medications and monitor vital signs using advanced telemetry
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for rapid response protocols
- Implement evidence-based practice through continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior nurses and participate in departmental training programs
- Maintain precise electronic health records with 99.8% accuracy
- Respond to emergency situations with calm precision using ACLS/PALS protocols
Qualifications
- Active NY RN license with minimum 3 years ICU experience
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- ACLS, BLS, and CCRN certifications mandatory
- Expertise in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking with rapid assessment skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic Systems preferred)
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to ongoing education (minimum 30 CEUs/year)
