Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill patients in 12-bed ICU unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor and interpret complex cardiac monitoring data
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions using Epic EMR system
- Mentor new nursing staff through our preceptorship program
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- 2+ years ICU or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR documentation system
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
