Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU/CCU settings
- Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving interventions
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs using advanced monitoring systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and treatment outcomes with precision
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 2 years critical care nursing experience
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
