Responsibilities
- Delicate patient monitoring and intervention in critical cardiac care settings
- Administer specialized medications and advanced life support protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain precise documentation and electronic health records
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to rapid response and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years ICU/CCU experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with cardiac monitoring systems (e.g., ICU Medical)
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
