Responsibilities
- Provide specialized cardiac ICU care including post-operative monitoring and critical intervention
- Administer medications and treatments with precision using advanced cardiac protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize electronic health records to document patient progress accurately
- Mentor junior nurses and participate in unit quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
Qualifications
- Current New York State RN license (required)
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- 3+ years of ICU/Telemetry experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
