Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nursing care to post-op cardiac patients and those with acute cardiac conditions
- Administer specialized medications including vasoactive drips and anticoagulants
- Operate advanced monitoring equipment (Swan-Ganz, intra-aortic balloon pumps)
- Collaborate with cardiologists and surgeons during emergency interventions
- Maintain precise documentation in Epic EHR system
- Mentor junior nurses through our clinical ladder program
Qualifications
- BSN required, MSN preferred
- Current NY RN license with ACLS/BLS certifications
- 3+ years ICU experience with cardiac specialization
- Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Strong critical thinking skills during high-pressure situations
- Experience with Epic EHR and cardiac telemetry systems
