Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for post-cardiac surgery patients
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic parametersAdminister life-saving medications and interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Educate patients and families on cardiac recovery
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois
- BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years ICU experience with cardiac focus
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Experience with ventilator management
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
