Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for post-cardiac surgery patients and acute cardiac conditions
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, ECG rhythms, and ventilator parametersAdminister vasoactive medications and manage temporary pacemakers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for complex patient care plans
- Lead rapid response interventions for cardiac emergencies
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current NYS RN license with BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ICU or Cardiac Telemetry experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and arterial lines
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- ACLS instructor certification highly desirable
