Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI and CT scans, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort by explaining procedures, positioning patients correctly, and minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to provide accurate diagnostic data for patient treatment plans.
  • Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and hospital accreditation standards.
  • Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions to the biomedical engineering team immediately.
  • Document patient history, exam results, and follow-up care instructions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

  • Current ARRT (R) certification or equivalent state licensure.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical radiology setting, preferably with MRI/CT expertise.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
