Responsibilities
- Perform Diagnostic Imaging: Execute high-quality X-ray, CT, and MRI procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Patient Care: Position patients accurately, ensuring their comfort and safety during imaging sessions while minimizing exposure to radiation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient history, procedure details, and images in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare team members to facilitate timely diagnoses.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to strict sterilization and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and state licensure.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required.
- Skills: Proficiency in operating advanced imaging modalities (CT, MRI, X-Ray) and strong technical aptitude.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
