Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Interpret complex blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) specifications, and CAD drawings.
- Conduct rigorous quality inspections using precision measurement tools like micrometers and CMM equipment.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Optimize machining processes to improve production cycle times and material efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Document production activities accurately within our ERP system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade school certification in Machining preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating multi-axis CNC equipment.
- Deep proficiency with FANUC or Siemens control systems.
- Strong background in metallurgy and cutting tool technology.
- Demonstrated ability to work from detailed blueprints and technical specifications.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
