Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the clinical vision for our telehealth platform, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and patient needs.
- Clinical Oversight: Provide medical direction and supervision to all clinical staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all digital health operations strictly comply with HIPAA, state licensure laws, and relevant healthcare regulations.
- Product Development: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and implement features that enhance the patient experience and clinical workflow.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as the voice of the patient, ensuring our services are accessible, inclusive, and centered on patient outcomes.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff.
Qualifications
- Education: MD or DO degree required; Board Certified in a relevant specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role within healthcare.
- Tech Savviness: Proven experience with telehealth platforms and a strong understanding of digital health trends.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of HIPAA compliance and licensure requirements for cross-state practice.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex medical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and improve operational efficiency.
