Responsibilities
- Oversee oncology treatment plans and clinical research protocols
- Develop departmental strategic initiatives and quality improvement programs
- Lead tumor board meetings and multidisciplinary care coordination
- Mentor medical staff and oversee resident/fellow training programs
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO, FDA, and institutional guidelines
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical partners on clinical trial development
- Analyze outcomes data to optimize treatment efficacy
Qualifications
- Board-certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology-Oncology
- 5+ years clinical leadership experience in academic hospital setting
- Active medical license in Massachusetts
- PhD or Master's in Clinical Research preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in precision oncology and immunotherapy
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed oncology journals
- Experience with electronic health systems (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
