Responsibilities
- Analyze complex medical datasets and electronic health records (EHR) to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop data visualization dashboards for real-time monitoring.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards during all analysis processes.
- Develop and maintain predictive models to forecast patient admission rates and resource allocation needs.
- Clean, preprocess, and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity for reporting purposes.
- Communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences through clear, concise reports and presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Biostatistics, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis within a healthcare or medical technology setting.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with Python or R is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT) and healthcare terminology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
