Responsibilities
- Oversee all resort operations including F&B, guest services, housekeeping, and recreation departments
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to maximize profitability and market share
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of hospitality professionals
- Monitor and control operational budgets while maintaining cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with Maldivian tourism regulations and sustainability standards
- Build and maintain relationships with VIP guests, corporate partners, and travel agencies
- Drive revenue management initiatives including dynamic pricing and upselling strategies
- Implement innovative guest experience programs and service recovery protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 years luxury hospitality experience with 5+ years in senior management
- Proven track record of achieving financial targets and KPIs
- Expertise in resort operations, revenue management, and team leadership
- Strong understanding of Maldivian tourism market and international guest expectations
- Fluency in English; additional languages highly advantageous
- Certified in hospitality management (e.g., CHA, EHMA) or equivalent
- Exceptional problem-solving and crisis management abilities
