Responsibilities
- Direct all resort operations including F&B, housekeeping, guest services, and water sports activities
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue targets and KPIs
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of 150+ hospitality professionals
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with international safety standards
- Oversee sustainability initiatives including coral reef conservation programs
- Coordinate with marketing team to position resort as top-tier luxury destination
- Conduct quarterly financial reviews and optimize operational efficiency
- Represent resort at industry events and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clientele
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years luxury hospitality experience with 3+ years in director-level roles
- Proven track record in revenue management and P&L optimization
- Strong understanding of Maldivian tourism regulations and sustainability practices
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing multicultural teams
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Dhivehi or additional languages is advantageous
- Certified in Hotel Management (CHIA/CHA) and Crisis Management
- Deep knowledge of luxury travel trends and experiential marketing
