We are looking for a highly strategic and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Manager to join our growing team in Chicago. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our supply chain efficiency, overseeing the movement of goods, managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and optimizing operational workflows.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL vendors to ensure optimal rates and service levels.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, customer service, warehouse) to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare accurate reports on KPIs, including on-time delivery rates, cost per unit, and inventory turnover.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, or freight forwarding.
- Strong proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates).
- Proven experience in vendor negotiation and contract management.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
