Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement innovative logistics strategies to enhance warehouse throughput and distribution speed.
- Manage key carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates to optimize operational budgets.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
- Utilize advanced data analytics to monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and execute corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including procurement and sales, to align operational goals with business growth.
- Ensure full compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics management, specifically in high-volume freight or distribution environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder).
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations, customs documentation, and carrier procurement.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a data-centric mindset for operational optimization.
- Professional certification (CLTD, CSCP, or PMP) is highly preferred.
