Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing logistics operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Oversee daily logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Utilize advanced analytics and KPIs to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive data-backed operational improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements with carriers, warehouses, and other partners.
- Implement and manage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to streamline operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies across all logistics functions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and customer service teams to align logistics operations with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics operations management, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in WMS, TMS, and other logistics software platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience in managing, motivating, and developing a diverse team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, international shipping, and customs procedures.
- Certification in APICS (CSCP, CPIM) or similar professional logistics accreditation is a plus.
