The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic LCSW to manage a diverse caseload of clients. You will utilize a strengths-based approach to guide individuals through complex life challenges, mental health crises, and transitions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform thorough psychosocial evaluations to identify client needs, strengths, and barriers to success.
- Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create and implement evidence-based care plans in collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate, safe, and effective crisis management and de-escalation services.
- Advocacy & Resource Navigation: Act as a strong advocate for client rights and connect individuals with vital community resources, housing, and employment opportunities.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant clinical records and progress notes.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic client care.
- Counseling Sessions: Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions using modalities such as CBT, DBT, or Motivational Interviewing.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Current, active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker Candidate (LCSW-C) license in the state of Oregon.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical social work, mental health counseling, or case management.
- Specialization: Experience with trauma-informed care and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex clinical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Integrity: Strong ethical judgment and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
