Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve end-to-end legal workflows, including matter intake, contract management, and vendor onboarding, to increase operational efficiency by at least 20%.
- Technology Management: Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of legal tech tools, such as iManage, NetDocuments, and CLM platforms, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Financial Management: Manage the legal budget, track legal spend, and negotiate contracts with third-party vendors (e.g., e-discovery, legal research tools) to maximize value and cost control.
- Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain knowledge management systems and internal knowledge bases to empower attorneys and staff with easy access to critical resources and templates.
- Reporting & Analytics: Create regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as matter duration, spend per lawyer, and utilization rates, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to introduce new processes or technologies, ensuring buy-in and successful adoption across the firm.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) or Business Administration is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Legal Operations, Corporate Legal, or a related role within a law firm or legal department of a multinational corporation.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven experience with legal technology stacks (e.g., iManage, NetDocuments, Salesforce, HighQ) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both legal and non-legal audiences.
