Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end R&D lifecycles, from initial conceptualization and feasibility testing to full-scale prototype validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate complex technological solutions into scalable product architectures.
- Analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain our competitive edge in the marketplace.
- Document research methodologies and patent novel findings to protect intellectual property.
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders to secure project funding and alignment.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in an R&D environment, preferably within the deep-tech or hardware sector.
- Proven track record of taking complex prototypes through to successful product integration.
- Strong background in data analysis and statistical modeling using Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Expertise in patent filings and technical documentation for global regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to drive projects in highly ambiguous environments.
