Responsibilities
- Architect, scale, and maintain robust test automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing QA team, conducting code reviews and establishing testing best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leaders to define comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies.
- Integrate automated test suites seamlessly into modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Perform rigorous API testing and performance benchmarking using Postman, RestAssured, and JMeter.
- Drive defect prevention strategies by championing shift-left testing methodologies throughout the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in QA engineering with a heavy focus on test automation.
- Expert-level proficiency in modern programming languages, specifically TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
- Proven track record of building and scaling test automation frameworks for complex web applications.
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
