In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between development and deployment, designing robust automation frameworks from scratch and mentoring a talented team of QA engineers. You will have the autonomy to choose the best-in-class tools, implement modern testing methodologies, and ensure our cloud-native platforms deliver flawless user experiences to millions of global users.
Responsibilities
- Architect, scale, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Lead, mentor, and foster the professional growth of a high-performing QA team, promoting testing best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Software Architects to define acceptance criteria and establish clear quality gates.
- Integrate automated test suites seamlessly into modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins) to facilitate continuous delivery.
- Design and execute performance, load, and security testing protocols to ensure system resilience and high availability.
- Track, analyze, and present key quality metrics (defect density, automation coverage, release velocity) to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a highly related technical field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or mentoring capacity.
- Expert-level proficiency in modern scripting and programming languages, specifically Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java.
- Proven track record of designing and scaling automation frameworks for APIs (REST/GraphQL) and responsive web applications.
- Strong experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with a passion for driving product excellence.
