Responsibilities
- Design and execute innovative clinical trials and translational research protocols
- Secure and manage NIH and foundation grants ($5M+ annually)
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ scientists and clinicians
- Develop intellectual property portfolios with 5+ patents/year
- Collaborate with FDA on regulatory pathways for novel therapeutics
- Publish high-impact studies in Nature, Science, or Cell
- Mentor junior researchers and present findings at international conferences
Qualifications
- PhD or MD/PhD in Life Sciences, Pharmacology, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive research leadership in academia or industry
- Proven track record of securing >$10M in research funding
- Expertise in clinical trial design and regulatory compliance (FDA/ICH)
- Published 20+ peer-reviewed papers in high-impact journals
- Experience with CRISPR, genomics, or immunotherapy platforms
- Certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and human subjects research
