Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of course development, from needs analysis to deployment.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex concepts into accessible learning modules.
- Architect engaging, interactive content using industry-standard authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud).
- Manage and optimize LMS configurations to enhance user experience and data tracking.
- Conduct thorough QA audits to ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) and pedagogical efficacy.
- Mentor junior designers on best practices in adult learning theory and micro-learning.
- Analyze learner data to iterate on curriculum performance and improve retention metrics.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in e-learning development within a corporate or higher-ed environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Captivate.
- Proven track record of designing programs that adhere to SCORM/xAPI standards.
- Deep understanding of ADDIE and SAM instructional design methodologies.
- Strong visual design skills and experience with LMS administration (e.g., Canvas, Moodle, or Cornerstone).
- Exceptional project management abilities with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
