Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of course design, from initial needs assessment to final deployment.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate academic content into interactive online modules.
- Design and develop high-fidelity multimedia assets, including video scripts, interactive simulations, and formative assessments.
- Implement data-driven design strategies to optimize learner retention and engagement.
- Conduct quality assurance testing across multiple Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on best practices for accessibility and UI/UX in education.
- Stay abreast of emerging educational technologies and pedagogical trends to innovate our course offerings.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in instructional design within higher education.
- Expertise in Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, and major LMS platforms (Canvas, Blackboard).
- Strong understanding of ADDIE, SAM, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of interactive course design.
