Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality asynchronous course content using Articulate Storyline and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging learning paths.
- Implement data-informed iterative design cycles to optimize course performance based on learner analytics.
- Mentor junior instructional designers on best practices for UX and accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1).
- Manage large-scale course production timelines, ensuring deliverables meet quality and pedagogical standards.
- Advocate for inclusive design practices to ensure accessibility for learners of all backgrounds.
- Stay at the forefront of EdTech trends to introduce gamification and interactive elements to the curriculum.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in instructional design within higher education or corporate training.
- Expert proficiency in LMS administration (Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle).
- Demonstrated mastery of rapid authoring tools: Articulate 360, Captivate, and Vyond.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated UI/UX design in educational materials.
- In-depth knowledge of learning theories (ADDIE, SAM, Universal Design for Learning).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
