Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and physical examinations.
- Formulate, implement, and monitor individualized therapeutic treatment plans for acute and chronic cardiac patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including cardiologists, RNs, and clinical technicians, to optimize continuity of care.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests such as ECGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and laboratory work.
- Provide high-impact patient education and counseling regarding disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and complex medication adherence.
- Maintain precise, timely, and compliant electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with clinical standards and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts.
- Board certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac acute care.
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Proven clinical decision-making capabilities and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
